“If there is one lesson I have to say I’ve learned during my time on this planet it is this: the number one thing all people crave is to be seen and to be heard. It’s just that simple. The gift of paying attention is a fundamental key to transforming our relationships. You will be suprised at how miraculous your relationships become when you just start paying attention.” ~Oprah Winfrey, Day 13, Miraculous Relationships 21-Day Meditation Challenge

What “relevant” questions about PRESENCE would you have chosen? (Hah, the one about mold could also be taken figuratively in the context of personal growth – you can grow mentally and emotionally moldy when you’re not walking the path of presence.)

Here are my questions to walk with: What is your definition of presence? Is it different than the dictionary’s definition? Which of the definitions above do you most resonate with today? When have you felt presence in your life? Why is presence important to you (or not)?

To me, all of the definitions and questions above point to the reason I started this blog:

  • to feel and know my own presence more fully and confidently as well as deepen and expand that presence in the world
  • to be more consciously aware of  the greater energy that makes the world go round, which I have come to call Presence, and to flow more easily, creatively, and impactfully in its stream (I’d say more connected too, but I think we’re always connected to Presence, just not as consciously as we could be)
  • to attract a community of like-minded people to share the journey and create an inspiring space for Presence to be experienced as consciously, creatively, and fully as possible
